Hempstead, NY – Two People Hospitalized After Car Accident on Parkway
Hempstead, NY (February 3, 2019) – This morning, police responded to a car accident that led to the hospitalization of two people on the Wantagh State Parkway this morning, February 3.
The accident took place this morning and closed down both directions of the highway. Police say that the accident happened in the northbound lanes.
Authorities have not released the names or extent of the injuries of those involved in the crash, but they have said that the crash is serious. The parkway was closed for several hours at Exit W6.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time so that they can determine who is liable and what circumstances led to the accident.
At this time, police are hoping that witnesses will come forward with more information.
