Aurelius, NY – Two Airlifted Following Car Crash with Plow Truck

Aurelius, NY (January 29, 2019) – Serious injuries were reported following a motor vehicle collision between a car and a DOT plow truck on Tuesday morning, January 29, according to authorities. The crash was stated to have taken place at around 10:30 a.m. in the town of Aurelius, located in Cayuga County.

Police were dispatched to the scene of the collision in the area of State Route 5 and Route 20. Emergency medical crews, including a medical helicopter, were called to the crash site to assist the victims. Authorities stated that two people who were in the car had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both parties were airlifted to Upstate University Hospital.
