Manhattan, NY – Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at East 38th Street
Manhattan, NY (January 26, 2019) – Police responded to a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that took place on January 23 and caused severe injuries to the pedestrian involved.
The accident happened that night around 11 p.m. at the intersection of East 38th Street and 2nd Avenue. Police found the victim lying on the ground alert and conscious but with serious injuries.
The driver who caused the accident was allegedly driving a Ford Mustang and fled the scene on 38th Street.
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition and, at this time, they are expected to recover from their injuries. The investigation into the accident continues as police search for the driver responsible.
