Brighton Beach, NY – Three Officers Injured in Car Accident at Intersection
Brighton Beach, NY (January 26, 2019) – Three officers were injured in a serious intersection accident that took place on Thursday night at Neptune Avenue and Ocean Parkway.
The accident took place around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection. At the time, the officers were responding to a 911 call in regards to a gunman and were en route to the job when they were involved in an accident and crashed into a pole.
When officers arrived at the scene to offer help, three ambulances had to be requested for those who received injuries. All officers were in stable condition when they were transported to the hospital.
At this time, the circumstances leading up to the accident remain under investigation.
