Rochester, NY – Woman Hospitalized After Collision with School Bus

Rochester, NY (January 25, 2019) – Thursday evening, January 24, a woman was reported to have suffered at least minor injuries after colliding with a school bus in the city of Rochester. Authorities stated that the accident took place at around 5:00 p.m. in the area of North Goodman Street and High Street.

Police said that the victim, identified only as a 58-year-old woman had been driving a 2004 Honda Pilot SUV along North Goodman Street when she rear-ended a school bus near the intersection with High Street. Emergency medical personnel were sent to the scene where they attended to the victim who may have suffered a medical episode prior to the collision.

The victim was immediately transported to Rochester General Hospital by AMR where her injuries are currently believed to be rather minor. Six children who were on board the bus at the time were thankfully unharmed in the accident.

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
