Buffalo, NY – Driver Injured in Car Crash at Roundabout on Fuhrmann Blvd
Buffalo, NY (January 24, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident that ultimately sent one driver over a roundabout on Fuhrmann Boulevard has landed one person in the hospital. The accident took place on Wednesday night, January 23, at around 11:30 p.m. in the city of Buffalo.
Authorities reported that the driver of a Nissan Titan pickup truck ended up going through the center of Fuhrmann Boulevard, which launched the vehicle over the roundabout with several large boulders, for reasons that have not been confirmed at this time. Police said that the crash happened near the Coast Guard station and prompted responses from police and paramedics.
The unidentified driver of the pickup was immediately transported to Erie County Medical Center to be treated for undisclosed injuries. The patient is currently listed in stable condition.
No charges have been filed at this time as authorities are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of this accident.
