Slate Hill, NY – One Person Suffers Burns During Three-Alarm House Fire
Slate Hill, NY (January 18, 2019) – According to authorities in Slate Hill, a three-alarm fire broke out at a home located at 150 McBride Road on Thursday night, January 17, that resulted in at least one injury and the destruction of the residence. The blaze was reported to have begun at around 7:00 p.m. for reasons that are currently under investigation.
Firefighters immediately responded to a call concerning the fire and arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews from multiple departments responded to the incident in which everyone in the house was able to escape. However, at least one person was reported to have suffered burns at the scene.
At this time, it is unclear as to whether or not the injured party had to be hospitalized. Authorities are actively engaged in a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident. No further information has been provided.
