Rochester, NY – Update: Identities of Two Victims Killed in Tractor-Trailer Crash Released

Rochester, NY (January 18, 2019) – Authorities have identified the two individuals who were tragically killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer on Friday morning, January 18. According to authorities, 58-year-old Tracy Premo, of Palmyra, and 30-year-old Jeffrey Farrell were the two victims of the serious crash that took place at around 9:00 a.m. along Route 104 and Hudson Avenue in Rochester.

According to authorities, Premo had been operating a tractor-trailer that spun out of control and veered off the expressway before striking a pole and a car in the area. The truck continued after the initial impact to hit Farrell, who had been working in a sewer grate, below ground.

Emergency medical crews arrived at the scene along with police and firefighters who attended to the victims. Premo had to be cut free from the truck and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, as was Farrell, who was stated to have been killed upon impact. One passenger in the other car that was struck was reported to have suffered injuries that have been classified as non-life-threatening at this time.
