Orchard Park, NY – Two Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash near Intersection
Orchard Park, NY (January 16, 2019) – A serious collision between two pickup trucks was reported to have happened in Orchard Park on Wednesday morning, January 16, according to local authorities. The accident which occurred for unknown reasons took place on Ellicott Road, in the vicinity of Dennis Road at around 8:30 a.m.
Police have reported that the only clear details concerning the events that led to the accident seem to be that one of the trucks involved had crossed over the center line, triggering the collision. Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the crash site along with authorities where the two drivers of the vehicles were found to be the only parties involved.
Paramedics quickly rushed both individuals to a local hospital for treatment. One victim was reported to have suffered serious injuries as the others’ condition has been classified as a non-life-threatening shoulder injury.
Currently, police have only identified the injured drivers as two people in their 20’s. No further information has been made available as police are likely to be continuing their investigation into the incident at this time.
