Buffalo, NY – One Student Hospitalized After School Bus Accident at Intersection
Buffalo, NY (January 14, 2019) – A school bus crash that was reported to have occurred on Monday night, January 14, has left one student hospitalized, according to authorities. The accident occurred at around 5:09 p.m. at the intersection of Grider Street and Northland Avenue in Buffalo.
Authorities stated that the bus involved had been transporting 17 students from School 27 when it became involved in a collision for unknown reasons. There has been no word as to whether or not another vehicle was involved, however, police stated that the bus struck a street sign during the collision.
One student who had been on board the bus was immediately taken to Oishei Children’s Hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. At this time, police have not said if any other students were hurt in the accident and the events that led to the crash remain unclear.
