Plattsburgh, NY – Two Individuals Injured in Three-Car Accident
Plattsburgh, NY (January 12, 2019) – Police say that two North County residents received injuries in a three-car accident. The two individuals have since been identified by police.
At the time, Sheikh Hussain was attempting to turn his Honda in the parking lot of Pray’s Market on State Route 3. He failed to notice 28-year-old Kelsie Gillman driving east in the oncoming lane and started to turn.
This caused Gillman’s vehicle to strike Hussain, which then collided with a third vehicle being driven by 57-year-old Timmy Rockhill. Rockhill had been stopped in a Kia in the parking lot of the marketplace.
Hussain did not receive injuries but his passenger was, identified as 30-year-old Robert Call. Gillman was brought to the hospital for chest pain and Rockhill was not injured.
Hussain received a ticket for failing to yield the right-of-way.
