Mooers, NY – Two-Car Accident at Intersection Causes Injuries
Mooers, NY (January 12, 2019) – A woman from West Chazy was injured in a two-car accident that took place at the intersection of State Route 22 and Bashaw Road.
At the time, 22-year-old Sabrena Starace was attempting to make a left turn in her Honda Civic when 22-year-old Zachary Smith failed to yield the right-of-way in his Chevy Cobalt.
The two collided immediately. Smith did not receive injuries, but Starace was taken to the University of Vermont Health Network for leg pains. Smith received a ticket for failing to yield the right-of-way as assessed by police.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
