Brighton, NY – Motor Vehicle Accident Ends with Injuries on Elmwood Avenue
Brighton, NY (January 11, 2019) – On Friday morning, January 11, police responded to a call concerning a motor vehicle accident that resulted in injuries on Elmwood Avenue. The crash was reported to have taken place at around 7:26 a.m. between no more than two vehicles in Brighton, according to authorities.
Dispatchers stated that a call came in concerning the accident in both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Elmwood Avenue, just east of Winton Road. Police were brought to the location along with emergency medical crews in order to evaluate the crash and render aid to any victims.
While paramedics who arrived at the crash site were able to confirm that at least one person was injured in the collision, there was no word as to the extent of the wounds that were suffered. Police have not stated how many people were involved in the accident.
The incident is currently under investigation as the events that led to this crash are currently unclear.
