Bensonhurst, NY – Pedestrian Accident Takes Life of Elderly Woman
Bensonhurst, NY (January 6, 2019) – In Bensonhurst, a pedestrian accident took place that took the life of an elderly woman. The accident took place at an intersection.
Police responded to the area of Cropsey Avenue and Bay 32 Street to find that a 77-year-old woman received severe trauma to her head and torso. EMS immediately transported the woman to the Coney Island Hospital, where she was tragically pronounced deceased.
At the time, police discovered that a 2019 Chevy Tahoe had been heading westbound on Cropsey when it struck the female, who had been trying to cross the street.
The operator of the vehicle stayed at the scene to cooperate with police. At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation into the matter continues.
