Henrietta, NY – One Killed and Three Injured in Crash on Interstate
Henrietta, NY (January 4, 2019) – Authorities are actively involved in an investigation into a motor vehicle accident that tragically claimed the life of one person and injured three others. The crash took place on Thursday night, January 3, at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Clay Road in Henrietta.
According to police, 22-year-old Jordin Campbell, of Spencerport, had been traveling south along Clay Road when he failed to turn properly and subsequently crashed through a concrete barrier. Campbell had been driving with three passengers in the vehicle at the time.
One young man, identified as 22-year-old Anthony Mykins was ejected from the vehicle along with an unidentified 20-year-old woman. Tragically, Mykins was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency medical crews and police arrived.
The female passenger has not been identified and has been listed in guarded condition. Campbell and one other male passenger, also yet to be identified, were also injured in the crash. Campbell is in guarded condition while the other male victim is reported to be stable at this time.
Police stated that Campbell is currently facing charges for DWI, vehicular manslaughter, and vehicular assault.
