Perinton, NY – Four-Vehicle Collision Leaves Two Injured

Perinton, NY (December 31, 2018) – On Monday morning, December 31, police were ordered to respond to a collision involving four vehicles and resulting in injuries in Perinton. The injurious multi-vehicle accident took place at around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 31 and Ayrault Road.

Police stated that three vehicles which had been traveling westbound along Route 31 were stopped at a red light at the time of the accident. A fourth car was reported to have failed to stop, subsequently causing a chain-reaction crash after slamming into the third vehicle at the traffic light.

The female driver of the car that caused the crash was reported to have required extrication from her vehicle. She was immediately transported to a local hospital with injuries classified as no-life-threatening at this time. One other driver was also taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

It is unknown as to whether or not any tickets were issued as police may be conducting a more detailed investigation into this incident.
