Buchanan, NY – Pedestrian Accident Takes Life of 63-Year-Old Man
Buchanan, NY (December 30, 2018) – In Buchanan, a pedestrian accident took the life of a 63-year-old man who was identified as Joseph Orichello of Montrose.
Police believe that Orichello was struck by a Cherokee that had been driving southbound on Albany Post Road. A passerby came across his body around 12:35 a.m. on Saturday morning, December 29. They called 911 and spoke with investigators. When paramedics came to the scene, he was already tragically deceased.
County police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident. They are still looking for the Jeep, which they believe has heavy front-end damage. Police continue to search for witnesses at this time.
