Williston Park, NY – Two-Car Crash Leaves Three Injured on Willis Avenue
Williston Park, NY (December 22, 2018) – Three people were reported to have sustained injuries, one of which has been classified as serious, following a two-vehicle collision on Friday night, December 21. Police stated that the accident took place at around 11:00 p.m. on Willis Avenue in Williston Park.
Police said that one of the vehicles involved, an SUV, ended up crashing through a fence and landing in a sump just off the aforementioned road near Center Street. Paramedics were immediately called to the scene along with police in order to evaluate the damages and assist any victims.
A total of three people were reported to have been injured in the crash, including one who suffered serious injuries. The other two are believed to have sustained only minor injuries in the accident, however, no official word concerning the conditions of the victims has been stated at this time.
There has been no information released concerning the other vehicle or the events that led to this accident. Police are likely to be involved in a thorough investigation.
