Mexico, NY – Two-Vehicle Collision Sends Two to Hospital

Mexico, NY (December 23, 2018) – Police say that a two-vehicle collision sent two people to the hospital when a Chrysler and Cadillac collided with one another near an intersection.

At the time of the accident, 54-year-old Charles Bailey Jr. was operating a Cadillac on US Rt 11 around the area of Tubbs Road. His vehicle collided with a Cadillac that was turning left from Tubbs Road.

The other driver was identified as 66-year-old Sharon Horning. Both Bailey and Horning were taken to the hospital by ambulance. One person was charged with failing to yield the right-of-way.

At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
