Beekmantown, NY – Woman Injured After Car Accident at Stop Sign
Beekmantown, NY (December 22, 2018) – In Beekmantown, a Cadyville woman was injured in a car accident when she went through a stop sign at a local intersection.
52-year-old Lana Provost was driving her 2016 Hyundai east on General Leroy Manor Road around 10:54 a.m. when she went through the intersection of Rand Hill Road without stopping. The vehicle was struck and came to a rest about 150 feet from the road.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, Lana Provost was the only person they found injured in the accident. She was taken to CVPH by ambulance for a neck injury.
Plattsburgh police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
