Hudson NY – 66-Year-Old Woman Struck and Injured at Intersection

Hudson, NY (December 20, 2018) – Late Wednesday morning, December 19, police were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident that left the victim with serious injuries. The injurious collision took place at the intersection of 5th Street and Warren Street in Hudson, according to authorities.

Police Stated that Robert Mickle, 87, of Hudson, had been traveling in a Chevrolet TRX Suburban when he approached the intersection and struck a 66-year-old unidentified woman. The impact of the accident caused arm and leg fractures, as well as a head injury, according to police.

Emergency medical crews were called to the scene where they transported the injured woman to Albany medical Center for treatment. Authorities have stated that her injuries are serious but don’t appear to be life-threatening at this time.
