Rochester, NY – Motor Vehicle Crash on Jay Street
Rochester, NY (December 18, 2018) – On Tuesday afternoon, December 18, police responded to a call concerning a motor vehicle accident that took place in the area of Jay Street and State Street in Rochester. The accident was initially reported to officers to have occurred at around 4:16 p.m.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene of the crash, which was believed to have involved no more than two vehicles, in the eastbound/westbound lanes of Jay Street at State Street. Paramedics were also sent to the scene in order to render aid to anyone who may have sustained injuries in the accident.
While emergency medical personnel were able to confirm that at least one person was hurt, there has been no word pertaining to the extent of injuries at this time. Police are likely to be involved in an investigation into the events that led to this accident.
