Columbus, NY – Authorities Release Identities of Individuals Involved in Fatal Two-Car Crash
Columbus, NY (December 18, 2018) – On Tuesday, December 18, troopers released the identities of those involved in a two-car crash that took the life of one person and injured two others on Saturday, December 15. The deceased victim, now identified as 27-year-old Bradley C. Prosser, of Sherburne, was stated as the cause of the crash which took place on County Road 25 near Columbus in Chenango County.
Police stated that Prosser had veered his vehicle into oncoming traffic, subsequently colliding with another vehicle. According to authorities, Prosser had a dangerous mix of drugs and alcohol in his system at the time of the accident, including a BAC of 0.23.
26-year-old Tasha C. Carney, of Edmeston, was a passenger in Prosser’s vehicle and was treated for minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle involved, 46-year-old Shannon M. Donnelly-Travis, of Schuyler Lake, was transported by helicopter to Upstate Medical Center. She was reported to have suffered a fractured arm and leg, and no drugs or alcohol were found in her system.
