Muttontown, NY – Two-Car Collision Ends in Fiery Wreck on Route 106
Muttontown, NY (December 17, 2018) – On Sunday night, December 16, a motor vehicle accident between two vehicles was reported to have resulted in both cars bursting into flames after the collision. The fiery crash took place at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Route 106, in the vicinity of Kirby Avenue.
The crash which is currently believed to have ended with at least minor injuries to possibly both parties was stated to have involved a dark-colored pickup truck and a dark-colored Mercedes. The two vehicles collided at the above-mentioned location for reasons that are currently unknown. Following the impact of the accident, both vehicles were reported to have caught fire.
Paramedics along with police were called to the scene as an ambulance was at the crash site, however, there was no word as to whether or not anyone was hospitalized. No further information has been provided in regards to the events that led to this crash or the individuals involved.
