Elmira, NY – Motor Vehicle Accident Occurs Involving Police Cruiser
Elmira, NY (December 15, 2018) – Police from Elmira continue to investigate a motor vehicle accident involving a Chemung County Sheriff’s Office cruiser and another vehicle.
The accident happened last night around 6:15 p.m. on East Church Street and involved two vehicles. Both drivers and passengers in the vehicles were taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
Police are not sure of the circumstances that led up to this incident. At this time, they are still trying to determine who is at fault for the accident, which took place at an intersection in the area. Police have not yet been able to determine any witnesses to the accident.
The investigation into the matter continues.
