Altona, NY – Altona Residents Hospitalized Following Rollover Crash
Altona, NY (December 8, 2018) – Four Altona residents were immediately taken to the hospital after they had been riding on a utility task vehicle and were involved in a rollover crash.
The accident took place on a dirt trail off of Miner Farm Road. Police say that 29-year-old Derek Jubert had been driving his UTV at the time around 3:10 p.m. when he attempted to make a right turn and the vehicle rolled over with multiple passengers on it.
One of the passengers was ejected from the vehicle, identified as 4-year-old Ian Jubert. He received a pelvic fracture, the worst of the injuries in the accident. The other occupants received a variety of different injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
