Bayside, Queens, NY – House Fire Claims Life of 59-Year-Old Man
Bayside, Queens, NY (December 7, 2018) – On Thursday night, December 6, a fire was reported to have broken out at a home on East Hampton Boulevard. The Bayside home fire was reported to have started at an unspecified time, however, the blaze was under control by approximately 10:45 p.m.
According to authorities, the fire occurred at a home located within the 56-07 range of East Hampton Boulevard and resulted in firefighters and emergency medical personnel arriving at the scene. 59-year-old Ismael Sylla was stated to have been found inside the fire-damaged home, unconscious and unresponsive. Sylla was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
There has been no word as to the events that led to the fire, and no further information has been provided regarding the victim or anyone else involved in the incident.
Police are actively investigating the cause of the fire.
