Woodbury, NY – One Man Killed in Crash on Long Island
Woodbury, NY (December 7, 2018) – Wednesday evening, December 6, police were called to the scene of a crash that resulted in the death of one person and the injuries of another. Authorities stated that the accident took place on Route 135 in the vicinity of exit 13 when a vehicle went off the roadway for reasons that have not been determined.
29-year-old Kenneth Glover had been driving a 2003 Ford Escape southbound along the aforementioned roadway and crashed following an unknown sequence of events. Whether or not another vehicle was involved has not been verified, however, Glover veered off the roadway and subsequently rolled over several times.
According to police, Glover was ejected from the vehicle, and paramedics who arrived in the scene sadly pronounced the driver deceased at that location. A 29-year-old unidentified passenger was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information has been made available at this time as police are actively conducting an investigation into the crash.
