Plattsburg, NY – One Man Hurt Following Two-Vehicle Crash
Plattsburg, NY (December 5, 2018) – A man from Plattsburg suffered injuries after being involved in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Tom Miller Road and Facteau Avenue on Tuesday, December 4. The injurious collision was reported to have taken place between two vehicles at an unspecified time.
According to local authorities, 43-year-old Eric J. O’Malley had been heading east along Tom Miller Road in a 2014 Toyota Corolla when he rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection. The other vehicle was reported as a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by William J. Fuller, 43, of Plattsburg.
Fuller was slowing down in order to turn left onto Facteau Avenue when the collision occurred. Both drivers are believed to have suffered at least minor injuries in the crash, however, O’Malley was the only one reported to be hospitalized as he was transported to CVPH via ambulance.
O’Malley was cited for following too closely but no further information has been made available at this time. Police are likely to be investigating the events that led to this accident.
