Brooklyn, NY – Man Found Dead Believed to Have Fallen from Train

Brooklyn, NY (December 4, 2018) – On Monday, December 3, a man who was later identified as 32-year-old Jared Adams, of Queens, was found deceased below elevated train tracks. Police initially believed the victim had died due to a gunshot when his body was discovered on Blake Avenue at around 5:30 a.m., in the vicinity of Van Sinderen Avenue.

Following an autopsy, police have now been informed that Adams died from a fall from the elevated train tracks in what may very well be considered a premises liability accident. According to authorities, Adams was immediately rushed to Brookdale University Hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators believe that Adams fell from an L train nearby the area where his body was found. Whether or not the victim had jumped, fallen, or was pushed is unclear at this time.

No further information has been made available as the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
