Phelps, NY – Two Taken to Hospital Following Two-Car Collision in Phelps

Phelps, NY (December 2, 2018) – Around 4 p.m. on Friday, November 30, two people were taken to the hospital following a two-car collision that took place in Phelps. The accident happened at the intersection of State Route 14 and Cross Road.

Various emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident. It was determined that 57-year-old Louis White was traveling west at the time and stopped at a stop sign. White pulled directly into the path of a vehicle operated by 74-year-old Daniel Tiballi.

White received hip pains and was taken to the hospital, and a passenger in Tiballi’s vehicle was taken to the hospital with chest pain.

White received tickets for failing to yield the right-of-way. At this time, police continue their investigation into the matter.
