Sennett, NY – One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Route 5
Sennett, NY (November 28, 2018) – A Cayuga County crash was reported Wednesday morning, November 28, that involved at least four vehicles and sent one person to the hospital, according to authorities. The multi-vehicle collision was reported to have happened on Route 5, also known as Grant Avenue, at around 7:30 a.m.
The precise location of the accident was reported by the State Department of Transportation as between Depot Road and Jericho Road, along the aforementioned avenue. Route 5 was shut down in the area for around an hour following the crash.
The events that led to this accident have not been made immediately clear, although police stated that paramedics transported at least one person to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The extent of those injuries are not known at this time.
