Malone, NY – Two-Car Accident on Route 51 Leads to Injuries
Malone, NY (November 18, 2018) – Police say that a Malone man suffered injuries in a two-car accident that took place at the intersection of Route 51 and Route 11.
At the time, 27-year-old Scott Wilson had been driving his Chrysler on Route 51 around 2:14 p.m. when he collided with a Dodge Neon. The Neon was driven by 56-year-old Harold Whitmarsh. At the time, Whitmarsh had been attempting to make a left turn onto Route 11.
Wilson was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries. He was ticketed for failing to yield the right-of-way.
