Staten Island, NY – Bronx Man Pushed onto Subway Tracks, Injured

Staten Island, NY (November 17, 2018) – On Staten Island, a Bronx man was pushed onto the subway tracks on Thursday, November 15 around 7:40 a.m. and was injured.

The man was pushed onto the subway tracks near the Brooklyn Bridge station last week. 55-year-old Edwin Pinez was sitting on the platform of the Number 6 train when he was shoved onto the tracks. There were multiple people waiting on the platform just before the train pulled into the station.

The alleged assailant was identified as 20-year-old Jaki Jeter. He fled on a train that was heading in another direction. Jeter has since been found and received a variety of charges for his actions.

Pinez received multiple lacerations to his mouth in regards to the accident.
