Patchogue, NY – Head-on Collision Takes Life of 54-Year-Old Man
Patchogue, NY (November 17, 2018) – On November 14, a head-on collision led to the fatality of a 54-year-old man. The accident is still being investigated by police.
The accident happened on North Ocean Avenue when a 54-year-old man had been driving his Cadillac and crossed over into the northbound lane. The vehicle swiped two other vehicles and then crashed head-on into a 2018 Explorer. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Matthew Rwzuk.
The 54-year-old man was taken to the hospital and, while there, he was pronounced dead due to severe trauma. His name has not yet been released. Rwzuk was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
All five vehicles were impounded for safety checks due to the damages.
