Kingston, NY – Teen Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Three-Vehicle Collision
Kingston, NY (November 15, 2018) – Early Wednesday morning, November 14, a three-car crash was reported to have occurred on Broadway that ultimately ended up seriously injuring a teen pedestrian outside Kingston High School. Authorities reported the incident which was said to have taken place after the student was dropped off across the street from the school at around 7:45 a.m.
According to police, the teen had been attempting to cross the street to go to school when the student was struck between two cars that were stopped in eastbound traffic. The young pedestrian was between two cars when the rear vehicle was hit, subsequently pushing that car into the vehicle in front of the teen.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene where the unidentified student was immediately rushed to HealthAlliance Hospital’s Broadway Campus with serious leg injuries. 63-year-old Linda Henry was the driver who caused the accident when she first struck the vehicle operated by 71-year-old Judith Fassilis. 37-year-old Kristen Ellison was the other driver involved, and no drivers were injured during the incident.
No tickets have been issued and no further information has been made available. Police are currently investigating the incident.
