Plattsburgh, NY – One Sent to Hospital After Three-Car Accident

Plattsburgh, NY (November 10, 2018) – Police say that a Plattsburgh woman was sent to the hospital following a three-car accident at the intersection of Tom Miller Road and Smithfield Boulevard.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. 25-year-old Kayla Woods was driving a Toyota Corolla east when 39-year-old Shannon Goddeau, in her Trailblazer, attempted to turn south. This caused the vehicles to collide.

A third Trailblazer became involved in the accident, which was driven by 72-year-old Ella Wood. She had been stopped at a stop sign at the time.

Woods was the only person who received injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital immediately. Goddeau received tickets for failing to stop at a red light.

At this time, we would like to take a moment to extend our sincere condolences to the parties who were involved and injured in this accident, as we understand just how difficult it can be to experience serious injuries and not know where to turn.
