Cobleskill, NY – One Person Loses Life in Accident with Police Cruiser
Cobleskill, NY (November 10, 2018) – Police say that one man lost his life after being involved in a serious accident with a police cruiser that was pursuing a speeding car.
At the time of the accident, two police officers in different vehicles noticed a vehicle that was speeding around 10 p.m. last night, November 9. The chase pursued on slick and rainy roads.
All of a sudden, a man walked into the path of a patrol car that was in front at the time. He was instantly struck by the vehicles. Both police cars pulled to a stop and started to try and save the life of the unresponsive man.
The pedestrian has been identified as 26-year-old Gerard Roldan III, who was taken to the hospital but didn’t survive. At this time, police continue to investigate this accident.
