Town of Onondaga, NY – Woman Crashes into Six Vehicles and Injures Eight People
Town of Onondaga, NY (November 9, 2018) – A woman who was driving a vehicle in a parking lot along South Salina Street Friday night, November 9, was reported to have crashed into six vehicles, subsequently injuring eight people. The incident was stated to have happened at around 6:40 p.m. in the town of Onondaga.
State Police who were called to the scene of the accident have reason to believe that the female motorist who caused this crash either suffered a medical episode or blacked out behind the wheel. Emergency medical crews were immediately called to the area to assist the numerous victims as they transported all eight victims, as well as the woman driver, to local hospitals.
Of the nine people involved in this incident, all injuries have been classified as relatively minor and all parties are expected to survive. No further information has been provided at this time as this is a developing story.
Police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this accident.
