South Jamaica, Queens, NY – Fire Results in One Injured on 123rd Street
South Jamaica, Queens, NY (November 6, 2018) – A fire was reported to have ripped through a home on 123rd Street, leaving one person hospitalized on Monday, November 6. The fire took place late Monday night, however, the exact time has not been specified.
Firefighters were quickly called to the scene of the fire that engulfed a house on 123rd Street in the South Jamaica section of Queens. Emergency crews accompanied fire rescue personnel on the scene in order to attend to any victims who may have been injured during the blaze.
Firefighters worked to get the flames under control as quickly as possible and at least one person was confirmed to have sustained injuries. However, while injuries were verified at the scene, it has not been reported as to the severity of the victims’ wounds, at this time.
There is currently no word as to the events that led to this incident, although investigators stated that the fire began on the first floor of the home.
There have been no further details provided at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
