Rochester, NY – Police Searching for Suspect Following Injurious Hit-and-Run Crash
Rochester, NY (November 6, 2018) – One man was confirmed to have seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist on Monday night, November 5. The accident was reported to have occurred at around 10:30 p.m. in Rochester.
According to local police, a 35-year-old man from Rochester has been walking along Northland Avenue when he was struck by a motor vehicle for reasons that have not yet been determined. Police have stated that the driver of the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene to assist the victim or cooperate with authorities.
Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene along with police in order to assist the victim who was immediately rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital. The patient was reported to be listed in critical condition at this time. Any witnesses are being asked to come forward with any information they may have.
