Enfield, NY – Victim of Fatal Crash that Also Injured Two Others, Identified
Enfield, NY (November 5, 2018) – The driver of a vehicle that died after crashing into a home on Route 79 Thursday morning, November 1, has now been identified. Police have confirmed the identity of the deceased victim as 33-year-old Kyle E. Shutts, of Trumansburg.
The accident that claimed Shutt’s life took place in the early morning hours after he crashed his 2018 Toyota while driving westbound on Route 79. Shutt’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree before crashing into a house in the 2500 block of Mecklenburg Road, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Police and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident and sadly pronounced Shutts dead at the scene. Two occupants inside the home were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information has been made available as investigators are still understanding the exact cause of this accident.
