Penfield, NY – Man Struck and Critically Injured by Vehicle Near High School

Penfield, NY (November 2, 2018) – A male pedestrian was struck by a car on Friday morning, November 2, near Penfield High School. The accident which left the victim seriously injured was reported to have occurred at around 11:20 a.m., according to local authorities.

Police stated that the collision took place as the pedestrian was walking across Five Mile Line Road by the entrance of the high school.  Police arrived on the scene shortly after the accident along with emergency medical crews to assist the victim. The injured man was quickly transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

According to authorities, the victim was reported to be in critical condition at this time. Five Mile Line Road was closed for an unspecified length of time and police stated that no students were injured in the accident.

No further information has been provided at this time as police are currently conducting an investigation.
