Elmsford, NY – Two-Vehicle Accident Ends in One Car Overturning
Elmsford, NY (October 27, 2018) – Police say that traffic was backed up following a two-vehicle accident in Elmsford. The accident took place at the corner of Route 9A.
The accident happened on Thursday, October 25 around 9:15 a.m. One vehicle ran into another for reasons that are not yet known, which caused it to turn onto its roof.
One driver was able to get out of the vehicle, but there was a woman stuck inside the car that turned over. She had to be extricated from the vehicle by a Good Samaritan and was pulled out to safety. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Police continue to investigate so that they can determine what caused the accident.
