Chautauqua, NY – Man Struck Telephone Pole, Dies from Injuries
Chautauqua, NY (October 28, 2018) – Last night, October 27 around 10:30 p.m., police were called to the scene of an accident with one fatality after a man struck a telephone pole.
The man was involved in an accident on Beaujean Road, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, who responded immediately. The vehicle was pushed from the roadway and struck a telephone pole.
The vehicle completely broke in half after the impact and the telephone pole caught fire after the violent crash. Police say that the driver, 33-year-old Roger Beaujean, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other injuries reported and no charges pending at this time.
