Clifton Park, NY – Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver After Three-Vehicle Crash on Moe Road
Clifton Park, NY (October 25, 2018) – Troopers were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision that took place on Moe Road late Wednesday afternoon, October 24. The accident was reported to have occurred at around 5:00 p.m. just south of Clifton Park Center Road.
The collision happened when a bright red newer model Kia sedan rear-ended two vehicles before turning around and fleeing the scene. The driver of the Kia was reported to have headed south on Moe Road after the accident.
Both police and local emergency medical personnel were called to the scene to assist any injured parties. One of the other drivers who was struck by the suspect suffered injuries as a result of the crash, however, the extent of those injuries has not been reported at this time.
State police are currently looking for the driver of the Kia who fled the scene as they have stated that the wanted vehicle likely has some damage to the front end.
No further information has been released at this time.
