Rochester, NY – 6-Year-Old Boy Struck and Injured in Accident

Rochester, NY (October 21, 2018) – In Rochester, a 6-year-old boy received serious injuries in a vehicle accident when he was struck and injured yesterday afternoon, October 20. The accident took place in the area of Carter and Portland Avenue around 1 p.m.

Police immediately responded when they discovered that a 6-year-old boy ran across the street and was struck by a vehicle passing through the area. He received non-life-threatening but serious leg injuries and was taken to the Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the boy stayed at the scene and no charges have yet been filed.
