Seneca, NY – First Responders Arrive at Scene of Intersection Accident
Seneca, NY (October 20, 2018) – On Friday, October 19 around 3:45 p.m., emergency responders were called to the scene of an intersection accident at County Road 20 and State Route 5&20. The accident was so severe that it closed down the south end of the highway.
A Finger Lakes Ambulance also responded to the scene of the accident and found that one passenger was injured as a result of the two-vehicle accident. They were quickly transported to the Strong Memorial Hospital with a wrist injury and they are expected to recover.
The operator of the vehicle that caused the accident was identified as 31-year-old Collin Bittner. He was issued a ticket for failure to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign.
