Cortlandt, NY – Cortlandt Manor Woman Dies After Motorcycle Accident
Cortlandt, NY (October 20, 2018) – A 37-year-old Cortlandt Manor woman, Daniela Aida, died following a serious motorcycle accident that took place on Route 6 last evening, October 19.
Originally, Aida was taken by ambulance to the New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital where she later died due to the severity of her injuries. The accident happened around 5:50 p.m. last evening when she was traveling east on the highway and a Lexus Sedan was traveling west. The vehicle was being driven by a 47-year-old man.
The man started making a left turn toward an entrance ramp for the State Parkway, which is when the two vehicles collided.
Police said that no charges have been filed but they continue to investigate at this time.
