Chesterfield, NY – Peru Man Facing Charges After Rollover Accident

Chesterfield, NY (October 20, 2018) – Police say that a Peru man is now facing charges following a serious rollover accident on Dugway Road. The accident happened on October 13 around 8:48 p.m.

Police investigated the scene and revealed that a 2018 Chevy had been driven by 44-year-old Guy Durgan of Peru when he struck an embankment with his vehicle. His passenger, 47-year-old Sharry Shepard, was injured in the accident.

Police discovered that Durgan had been driving with a revoked license and his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.16%. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and a variety of other felonies.

Police continue to investigate at this time.
